Quedlinburg


The old town of Quedlinburg has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1994.
The Schlossberg resides above the city with the collegiate church of St. Servatius. In the 10th century, the kings and emperors of Germany resided here.
In the middle of the old town there are half-timbered houses, more than in any other place in Germany. The market square with the town hall and the Roland statue is also interesting.
The Lindenbeinsche Tower offers an ideal view over the city.
The Münzberg and the many monuments are also among the sights.
